1970 Cuda convertible 440-6 clone
« on: May 01, 2009 - 03:09:26 PM »
Come and get it:  I have owned this for 14 years and have put under 15 miles on it-

I am selling this convertible as I just dont drive it and I figure I could use the $$$ for a building project instead. Here is the deal on this car. It was originally a 318 Grand coupe convertible. Car is now a clone in Viper red with a forged crank 440-6 in it.All new 6 pack everything. Car has a real shaker hood, base plate and runs and drives nice. Car is almost done and needs a new top and a few minor items to be complete. This IS NOT a 100 point car and there is a lot incorrect, like the rear pass side quarter panel, which is off of an AAR CUDA, thus moving the antenna hole to the back. Car is very straight, has new engine, trans, rear end 8 3/4 323 S.G. TTI exhaust, PST front suspension and more. The main problem with this car, is that the VIN is missing off of the dash/ door. The Title, cowl and data plate all match however. The paint is brand new, 2 years old, but not driven since, except for 5 miles to local car show. This car has 10 miles on it. If interested. It has rally gauges in it but they are unreliable and it has a dash cap. PRICE IS $55k Come take a look. I am open to offers but need 35K in cash and possible trade for mopar project, I would not mind a 63 64 Dodge/ Plymouth Max wedge era clone or driver for the remaining 20k. Or other Mopar driver of equal value. We all know that these cars will go back up in value, so why not grab one while they are down. I am simply at a point, where I am tired of working and want to get to my Idaho property and can make that happen a lot sooner if I sell this. Anyone who is interested, can email me and I can send more pics. However, I would strongly suggest, if your interested, to come and look at the car in person. ITS NOT PERFECT, but its a beautiful car and I DONT WANT any unhappy folks on my hands. If you want a numbers matching perfect car, then this is not the one for you. It can be a great car, with little effort.

Thanks for the ad

Beautiful car.  Good luck getting 55K for it though.
