tranny cooler fittings on radiator --- size and type?
« on: May 22, 2009 - 09:46:09 AM »
Anyone know off hand what size fiittings I need for the tranny cooler lines going to the rad?

I bought new lines thru Mancini, but they both have female fittings on each end.,.....my rad also has female fittings....so I need "something" there.....the lines need flare fittings on their respective ends...what do I need for the rad? Is that just a pipe thread?

Shouldnt these lines have had the male fittings on the rad end!?!?   :swear:

Thanks all

Not sure of the exact size (line size may be 5/16) but you won't find them at the hardware store....try NAPA

You need a 5/16 tube size(cooler line) by 1/8 pipe (transmission case/radiator end) fitting. The transmission shop that did your 727 should have them.
