Challenger script on 70 dash pad attachment?????

How does the logo attach to the dash?

I thought on a 70 it was molded in?

Yep.  70s had the Challenger  script molded in the dash pad.  71 and later had the script applied.

The dash does have a spot thats molded to except the script but the scrip itself is a seperate piece and if I remember right it has a couple pins on it that push into the dash

I believe you either have a 71 and later dash pad or an aftermarket one.  My 70 also has the molded Challenger made into it.   If your right I need to go out and look at the backside of my dashpad.

the script has 3 little pins on the back that just push into the dash, i broke 2 of mine off pushing it into the dash, cheap asian crap  ,  so i cut the third one off and used 1 drop of super glue in 2 or 3 places and just stuck the emblem to the dash. it has held up great, just make sure you dont use to much super glue and besure not to get any on the dash pad.

i predrilled mine before pushing the pins through, just wanted to make sure it didn't need glue as well.  Thanks
