OK... I'm back with another dilemma for all of you out there that like help me rebuild my cuda vicariously through this forum..
Well I did it again..
Things were going good a first.. i installed my steering column (Fresh Paint.. looking NICE), wheels were turning like they should.. i was living the high life.. (as in miller...)
And then i see the “O” ring sitting on the table...
“Hmm do i really need it? Who's going to know?” I thought..
”I'll Know”... I said...
SOOOOO.. There i am trying to get this steering column back out of the car.. i got the coupler at the gear box the majority of the way...
I thought maybe i could pull from the steering wheel and it would pop off...
well.. something popped alright.. it just wasn't the coupler..
the innards came apart...
So.. i got everything out of the car..
I put it back together.. (slid the two pieces back together with a little tap with a hammer)..
got the “O” ring on..
got it back in the car..
went to test it.. and clunk-a-clunk from the inside...
Pulled it apart.. and.....
now what?
