Greetings from Round Lake, Illinois
« on: May 12, 2009 - 03:08:57 PM »
Hello, I bought my '73 challenger about 2 weeks ago.  It has a 318 right now but hopefully a 440 six pack to come soon.  It's an ugly gold right now but some new paint will be going on there sometime, probably over the winter.  I'll see you guys in the forums.

Brett

Welcome to the site.  You'll find lots of good folks here and lots of help with your project, should you need it.

And let me officially welcome you by pointing out that, "ugly" gold or whatever color:  :useless:   :roflsmiley:

I think this'll work.  I didn't take these pics and that's not me in the photo.

Howdy Brett,   Good to see another '73 & the Gold looks good to me it's the white strobe stripe that ruins it for me... What color are you looking at?

I'm thinking it will be red with black stripes and black on the hood.  The gold isn't in too bad of shape but it is really not that well done.  It's also really not my color.  I know a guy that does custom paint and is giving me a really good deal on it.

Welcome to the site, Brett!  The car looks good from the photos, but I like your idea for the new paint job over what's currently on it.
