Visited a local Cuda owner
« on: May 15, 2009 - 08:04:24 AM »
I pass by one house twice a day almost every day during the week....and quite often I see the tail end of a cuda sitting there....been wanting to stop for a long time and yesterday was the day.  I decided no time like the present.  LOL  I pulled into his drive and he eyed me suspiciously.....

Turns out it is a 72 'Cuda, 340 car, hurst 4 spped pistol grip, fully optioned (he said he bought pretty much every option available at the time), rally gauges, etc......original owner (paid $4700 at a local dealer) and the car is gorgeous and original.  Deep metallic blue.  He bought it in late 72, so it has the 73 style bumpers on it.

The guy said he has no idea what it is even worth, he just loves the car though was toying with selling it.....hasnt been inpsected or a couple years and hasnt had more than 50 miles on it in that time.   50k miles on it.

Man, nice car.  Glad I stopped.  I told him how I just got my 72.....we chatted for a while and I think maybe I helped stoke the mopar flames a bit in him...LOL

He said he used to drag it now and then at Keystone raceway back in the day....

I couldnt get a real good look cause the car was packed away in his garage...but he says I am welcome to stop again when he has it out..... :2thumbs:
