Bach again , check the pics out and am i right , green interior with rally dash had a green steering colomn and can , but if you had a standard black dash they left it all black , which is how my car is , my dilema is i am putting a rimblow on it , do i go for a black horn cap or a F8 green one ?

thanks HEMIKEN , man the f8 interiors are all over the place in terms of shades of green , i think over time the original stuff has gone darker and the repo stuff that is actually F8 green looks to light , thats my problem my dash ,console, door panels are original and a new repro cap just looks wrong , have asked plumbeeper if he can make one a bit darker so we will see >

Allen, I too own a F8 car unfortunatly it is far from green as it can get, I wish it was green, I love F8. Anyways, I did a lot of research on F8 when I purchased my car and I was told by a few guys that this picture is of an original F8 car non restored. In 1969 I was at the dealership debating on which car to purchase, a Charger in B5 or a Coronet R/T in F8, the R/T was just like the picture you see. The dash color was darker than all and the lower dash and console were even lighter. My buddy was with me that day and after I chose the Charger to buy he bought the R/T so I was in his car as often as I was in mine and another friend in his 69 1/2 RR in a lighter shade of green, we all loved green and B5.

Nick

Nice pic Nick , i got to admit when i first brought the car the bit i was not keen on was the F8 interior but now i have it I absolutely love it , that pic is very close looking to mine but my wood wheel is darker green for some reason , i got standard dash like pic with black steering colomn ,colomn is pretty badly marked and i should repaint it but they are only original once !

I called my brother back in my home town and he thinks Don may still have the R/T locked away, if he does, I will get some pics of the original interior in it, last time i saw the car was 20yrs ago and he was about to put it away in a building somewhere.
