Pic for 340 carb to fuel pump routing?

I bought the 2 piece set from fine lines. Can't tell if the long or short piece should connect to the fuel pump. It doesn't look right either way, seems like it will hit the alternator.

Anyone have a pic?

I believe mine is the original and the long piece comes up from the fuel pump, then the in-line filter and the short piece to the carb.
I can get you a picture later, if you need it.

Here's the best pic of a '70 I could find... On my '73 the line comes right between the alternator brackets

Right behind the alternator brackets and the engine block next to the oil dip stick tube.
