Help with firewall, challenger.
« on: May 17, 2009 - 06:02:02 PM »
Im buying a new firewall+cowl set for my -70 challenger, with out AC.

There is two options , clip on style and screw on style. Can you guys help me to understand what this means, so I can choose a right one. :clueless: :dunno:

Thank you.

I believe this refers to the cowl screens. All the 70 E-bodies I have seen (mostly Hamtramck cars) have the screw-on style. 71-up had clip on screens.

Yep, my 70 screens screwed on. It's an L.A. car too.

I think my 71 had the screw on style.... :clueless:

I had to remove screws to take them off anyway.
