stock 340 intake height

i'm getting a shaker for my car and i need to find out some clearances. i was told that i don't need to do anything fancy with the shaker setup as long as i don't go higher than 1'' from stock intake height. can anyone tell me what the carb ''pad'' height is on a stock 340?

Stock 340 intake center of base should be 4 1/2" tall, my Weiand #8007 is 5 1/2"
