904 Kick Down problems.
« on: May 31, 2009 - 05:18:14 PM »

HI Guys..

After a 5 years stand my first runs In my challenger came out pretty good. But it seems at the trans will not kick down and takes the 2. gear fast at upshifts. I run cabel and with full trottel the kickdown lever is all they way back...

What could the problem be, any ideas  :clueless:

Thanks Guys...

HI...

Pictures added from below of the transmission. Not the best :picture:

Could it be a valve or something intern in the trans ?

Thanks

Take the cable off down below and swing the little lever to see when the tension really starts. Where is the cable holding it from the tension starting spot when it is hooked up?
