    440 Engine Codes

    Im just checking to see if the cylinder heads are correct for my 70 Challenger 440 R/T engine.
    Casting numbers are 2843906-9 : 10038 : Also stamped on the outside of the casting is X16831.
    Can anyone tell me how to decode the numbers ??

    For stamped 1970 engine numbers, you can read TSB D70-25-1 (first one in Chapter 25 - 8 pages) at this link;
