Cuda Jack Retention
« on: May 23, 2009 - 12:07:12 AM »
I just got a jack for my Cuda.  Even with the hold-down spring, the jack wants to slide off the wheelhousing and rest against the quarterpanel.  Is there supposed to be a bracket on the wheelhouse?  Is the jack felt supposed to act as the retainer?

There's a bracket on my challenger that holds the jack nicely. I suppose cuda's are the same.

I think this is the bracket you are talking about.

I just installed my jack and stuff today on my barracuda. Along with the spare tire and stuff.  My car is a 70. It has a stand with felt on it. The outer side towards the quarter has an edge so it can't slip that way, then the bottom goes in a slot along with the handle and a spring is used to hold it all in place. Once you got it in there and tightend up, it is secure and stays right there

That's what is missing.  Thank you.
