Just got back from Southern Illinois this last weekend, a friend of our's duaghter is in Kentuck as her husband is staioned there in the army. She has been finding homes for pets as people have been transferring to other bases. She was at their local walmart and heard a lady cussing up a storm near where they were parked, she went over to the lady and asked her to not use such foul language in front of her kids, low and behold while she was there, this lady had a male **** su that was extremly malnurished and blind, the lady said she was going to have it put to sleep as she couldn't afford to feed it. This lady had full cartons of cigarettes that she had just bought though, so our friend told her she would find a home for the dog and not let it be put down. She called us and we went and got it. Poor guy only weighs about 6 pounds, he is about 2 years old and you can see and feel every bone in his body. this makes the 5th dog and 2 cats that we have now rescued.
I don't understand people, if you can't or won't take care of an animal, you shouldn't get one! Sometimes I would like to treat these owners the way they treat these poor animals.
Sorry to vent, but it really ticks me off
