Hot August Nights 04
« on: August 09, 2004 - 04:05:34 PM »
Some shots I took over the week during Hot August Nights in Reno, NV.  There's some duplicates in there, but overall a good group of Mopars for the year.  Enjoy.

May as well start with the best..

Sage Cuda,
Thanks for the great shots :D That looked like an awesome show. I'm glad there were alot of Mopar people there. You're right, the first car(71 Cuda) absolutely rocks.

Yep looks like a sweet show!!!  Nice weather and all!!  That 71 HEMI cuda is awesome!!  I thought the stripe on the red 70 cuda that was driving was interesting for that year!  And the purple one had a big tach mounted on the driverside pillar??  :P   The red Challenger, a couple pics up with the white interior, needs some white stripes to break it up alittle bit . . . . well my opinion anyways!  ::)   ;D  ;D  ;D   Thanks for the pics!!

No, the first one isn't mine, unfortunately.  Maybe in about 3 years or so though.  ;D

In the past 4 years, I've only seen 2 71 Cudas.  Both were hemi powered.  You do tend to see about 4-5 AARs each year, and a few 72-74s.  There's usually about the same number or a bit more of the Challys.  We see about 500,000 visitors during HAN, and maybe 15,000 or so classic cars (rough guess).  It can be hard to find the Mopars sometimes, but if you listen, you can usually hear them~
