Looks like they're getting started on it and leaving it how they found it just cleaner.

That is too cool.  It's unfortunate the vault leaked.
Glad to see someone is bringing it back to life.

Its a tragedy that it came out that way. I was shocked to see any paint left. I would think its worthless, but im not there to see just how thin that metal is. They chould make it like Joe Dirt and restore the motor and trans so its completely mechanical.....

I hate to say this but that car is just junk. Brand new junk but junk just the same. The ONLY thing I could see even remotely being worth anything are parts of the drivetrain and even that might be pushing it. Sad as hell but there it is  :walkaway:

Hackettstown is only a half hour from me and I have been there for hockey. When I was in town I quickly glanced down the street looking for the rust place during the snowstorm that was occurring but couldn't see the rust place.

Hey Bordin maybe you could go by there again and see if there's any new progress or update on it?

I remember when my dad had one and it was pink but really cool.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development
