Harbor Freight pneumatic tires any good?
« on: June 19, 2009 - 06:43:12 PM »
I was getting a few things anyway and saw they had pneumatic tires at 5 bucks a piece. I figure that they might be handy some time down the road. Anyone use them? I know a lot of the stuff at Harbor Freight is junk but they do have some good stuff too. A co-worker has had one of their 8 dollar 3/8's composite ratchet for over a year and its still going strong. I must stress that this is in a very dirty, industrial setting and being used multiple times daily.

harbour freight is the dollar general of tools.
so, with that in mind...

i buy their stuff all the time, knowing full and well the life expectancy is sketchy.
some stuff i thought would go south fast has endured years of constant abuse, some has not.
im sure whatever you were gonna use them for, they would be adequate, for a while at least.
i have one of the pnuematics on my gate, and its been there 3 years, no problems.

hope that helped.   :2thumbs:

Cool. I was thinking of making a car dolly or rotisserie with them for when I do my 70 Challenger on down the road. Thanks for the input   :2thumbs:
