1974 Dart Sport
« on: May 27, 2009 - 10:11:38 PM »
Hello guys.  We're working on making some room and funds for a 69 Super Bee with a 6 pack and 4 speed.  Because of that, we're selling off several others.  This one is up in Detroit right now.  I'm listing it for my uncle.  If you have any questions, you can call him in the number listed, or shoot me a PM/email.  Don't shoot me, but I also have a 1985 Corvette listed.  I won't bother posting it here, but I will add the link to the craigslist listing - http://providence.craigslist.org/cto/1192378661.html .

Here's the info for the Dart with pics

This car would make a perfect daily driver, and will even get pretty decent gas mileage. It comes with the original 318, which has 96,500 miles. The 904 transmission was also just rebuilt about a year ago, and only has about 100 miles on it since then. This car is probably about 85% original. It is maroon with light tan vinyl top, and real clean tan interior with brown carpets and trim. The body is in real good driver condition with very little rust, but would need some minor body work and repaint to make it more of a show car. It is an original A/C car. All of the components are there, the system would just need to be hooked up and charged. The interior includes the original AM/FM radio and fold-down rear seats, just like the Hank 10 version. The rear-end is 8 1/4, but has the big bolt pattern (5x4.5) axles. It also has front disc brakes. Included with the car will be an extra set of 318 heads. If you have any questions, please call 586-421-4253, and ask for Matt.

Price is $5,000 or best offer.

Ahhh     I bought one of those (used) in about 1976; a few months later, mMy wife totalled it (darn near killed her) when she hit a bridge.   Mine was red, white top & interior.    I think I splurged and bought a Chrysler Cordoba (without the Corintean Leather) with the insurance proceeds....     M e m o r i e s......

Nice car, most of those rotted out real bad really quick around here. Wish I had the room, I think it be a good start to do a slow build up for the wife...  :grinyes:  Good luck with the sale.

I also would like to add that I have a 360/380 crate motor with less than 2,000 miles on it.  It also includes a rebuilt 727 and TC that are all still attached.  The entire drive train was pulled as a unit from a 71 Cuda vert, which was replaced with a crate Hemi.  The motor is complete from carb to oil pan, with all pulleys, brackets, etc.  It's ready to be dropped in as is.  The only downside is the motor/tranny is with me in Texas, while the car is in Michigan.  I am asking $4,500 for the engine combo, but will let it go with the Dart as a package buy for $9,000.  If you have any questions, the engine is at Huls Auto Works (www.hulsautoworks.com).  Just call 469-964-1192, and ask for Craig, or PM me and I can get you in touch.  I am also listing the motor/tranny in the parts for sale section.

Yes, the car is in Macomb, Michigan, just north of Detroit.  My wife's uncle has it at his house right now.  If you're interested in checking it out, call the number and ask for Matt.  :2thumbs:

Well, I just noticed you're in Macomb, also.  Go check it out!
