Mopar project car wanted
« on: May 19, 2009 - 08:10:58 PM »
I got contacted by a lady a couple of nights ago. Guess she got my email off my website and figured I could help her. Anyways, she's looking for a project car for her husband. It's their 25th wedding anniversary coming up and she'd like to give it to him as a gift.

"Before we got married, my husband, Don had a 1970 Challenger, 1970 Charger and a 1972 Cuda, they were his "babies", we got married when he was 21 years old. He sold off his Cuda to help pay for our wedding and honeymoon, soon after we were married I got pregnant, he then sold his Charger and Challenger due to complications. My husband was your age when he started working on cars and when he fell in love with mopars, his dad would always tell me that Don must have truly loved me to give up his cars/hobby.  Don has always given of himself and has never asked for anything, both of our children our now grown and we are in a position where he would like to start up a hobby.  For our anniversary this year, I would like to surprise him with a car that hopefully he can restore to be his "baby"."

She lives in Dallas, Texas. She said she wouldn't mind travelling abit for a car. She is looking to spend around $5k. Let's help her out. She wants to get him either a Cuda, Challenger, Charger or Super Bee. If you know of anything for sale, please either post it here or you can email me at cole_383@hotmail.com and I'll forward everything to her.

Thanks,
Cody
