to bad the place that was making 1st gen camero's got shut down, they might have made a cuda or challenger vert.

They did?  I haven't heard anything about them since Hotrod ran the article.  It was big news.  Whats the rest of the story on this?

Oh yeah? Are you talking about the company who was making NEW Camaro hulls?
I hope so, I really did not need to see more Camaros or "kit car" cuda's  :(

well the guy had a slip and fall accident on the ice he shut his doors. User id on ebay is wizzer I think . I bought convertiable top wells for him

Welcome. And I agree- :useless:

But on a serious note, you don't want to make a convertible out of a hardtop. The 'verts had a lot of extra bracing, and doing the job right would take a serious amount of time and money. Doing it wrong means sacrificing the structural integrity of the car. Rolling the windows down is definitely not the same, but if you want a convertible, get a convertible. Even if you did it right (and believe me, spent a fortune doing it), the car would be worth less than it is now.
