Kick panel insulation
« on: August 01, 2009 - 08:50:45 PM »
Can somebody refresh ol' BIGS memory? I was going to put the kick panel insulation in today. Got the REM stuff . I ripped my old nasty stuff out months ago, but I coulda swore I took out 4 pieces.  :eek7: The new kit is 3 pieces. It also seems the new stuff is backing side in instead of backing side out, if you know what I mean.  :screwy: Anyone run into this, or got a pic or two??  :clueless:
Thanks

I have a piece behind the e-brake now that came with the other side.  There is also a piece on the firewall (inside) like in front of the e-brake assy. But it looks nothing like this....  :dunno:

i'm almost certain that is the e brake side and the other one wich isn't so "notched" goes on the pass. side. i had them mixed up and they fit much better. i'm just giving you my opinion :dunno:

I have both "sides" in. It s wierd I could swear my car had 2 pieces (one each side) that fit in the a-piller where the lower hinge is. But the were more rectangular shape. Over 50 people have looked at this post... nobody knows...??  Theres even a kit on egag right now with the same piece...  I'm losin' it..  :banghead:
