Where to buy shifter linkage parts?
« on: July 09, 2009 - 09:00:36 PM »
I need new parts for 727 auto tranny. All shifter linkage and bushings from tranny to body. Yearone only had 2 parts :(
I will be at Carlisle and would like to know which vendor to see for parts.

I'd check here, they have many hard to find parts.

I wish I knew exactly what you needed, the bushings are the most common worn part. If anything on the linkage is worn,it can probably be fixed instead of replaced. Did you ever check the engine and transmission mounts to make sure they are good. (this thing is shifting the shifter by itself under hard acceleration and will not go all the way into park). It was nice to talk to you on the phone the other day too by the way.  :2thumbs:
