Tach Trouble
« on: June 27, 2009 - 01:05:05 AM »
My rally dash tach was working great and then it just died,  I checked the blue wire going into the tach while it was running and it's dead. with a mopar performance electronic ignition set up where does the tach hook up to the coil or to the ballast resistor? and what color would it be ?  still blue?

Never  mind I found the problem, it's on the same fuse as the back up light so everytime I go in reverse it pops the fuse.

I don't see a wire problem so is it possible the backup light switch is bad? it's a 4 speed.

my 70 had a shorted switch. But the reverse light on the dash could be shorted or a bulb in the tail lense
