« on: June 27, 2009 - 06:42:26 PM »
Im looking to do a drum to disc conversion on my 70 cuda in the near future.  My question is does the wheel offset change any?  I want to buy wheels but i dont want to buy 2 sets.

The wheel offset will not change.  I will be doing the same thing in the near future.

What brakes are you going to use?

I have been looking at these guys...http://performanceonline.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=19537&cat=1294&page=1

If you use a stock based kit the width does not change. If you go aftermarket like AlterK or Wilwood, it does change slightly. Unless you are planing on running tires that are the maximum end of the fitment spectrum, like a 275 on the front, a slight variation shouldn't matter much with most popular front tire sizes.

That is what I thought.  I haven't found anyone who has bought them though, so I am wondering about the quality of the parts.
