Been a while, but I am back to tinkering with 4-wheels again. After I lost the torque converter last time (and had to clean everythign out twice when I didn't get it all the first time), I threw on an external filter. But, since I'm cheap, I just used an engine oil filter kit that I already had. Uses the same PH-8 filters that my dual engine kit has. Does anyone know if the engine oil filters are the same as the transmission ones? Something that popped into my head recently was that maybe the filter media might not be compatible with ATF. I'm getting ready to ship it to Italy for the next tour and I would like to take care of anything that might might delay me (like the converter failure that almost kept it in Korea)Thoughts? Thanks
