70 challenger 340 sixpak booster
« on: July 08, 2009 - 02:25:23 PM »
I am installing a bendix style booster on a 70 T/A sixpak car(with disc) and wondered if they used the filter in between the master and booster?  The car didn't have one but the replacement did.  I can only find that the midland ross style used this filter.

Thanks in advance..

You mean gasket right?  There wouldn't be a filter between the booster and the master cylinder.
There should be a foam gasket installed between the booster and the master cylinder on the Bendix boosters.

Well, I know about the gasket, but I meant the platic and metal "filter" that is about 1/4" thick that is usually found on midland ross boosters.  I don't think that these booster take that.
