super stock springs question

i changed out my rear springs and put the caltracs on...and didnt really notice untill i seen them in the back of my truck,but 002,003 super stock springs are not for e-bodys right? i looked them up on summit and they showed only for B-bodys

002-003 are A-Body superstock springs. you can use them on a E-B Body , but you have to get the correct front spring hangers...

Cal-Trac mono leafs would work better and are much lighter than the S/S springs if your going to race it alot....

dont s/s springs have a 20" front spring sections? i got the cal tracs for the street and some drag but not much..they sure set the car down better..

yes they are 20" so you need a longer front spring hanger to locate the springs & diff correctly

whats the wheel base on a cuda is it 118

without looking it up I thought it was 110 for the Cuda & 112 for the Chall

Challenger = 110"

i never new the challenger had a longer wheel base...its the lenth of the cars the same?

The length is also 2 inches different. The Challenger is longer by 2. Notice the rear valance spring shackle hanger covers molded into the valance.

In general, Dodges had a longer wheel base than the Plymouth version (a,b and e bodies).  Dodge was the upscale model, so it had the longer wheel base and better ride.
