I finally have been able to get my fish on the road...having some issues with idle and timing, so I may be (and hoping I am) premature in asking this....
When I came to a red light, I would put the tranny in neutral to keep the idle up......then I would put it into drive and if I dont wait a second or two, I get a delay in shifting...in other words, if I start gassing too soon, I get a jolt as the tranny kicks in.....
Should I be concerned? Or is this simply a factor of my engine running crummy right now?
Also, The tranny seems to shift up and down fine on its own when driving.....Going up a hill, I can get it to kick down into 2nd, but not way down.....is that normal? I have the kickdown set all the way back at WOT.....at least I did before I installed carpet...wondering if the carpet is affecting my WOT now as I type this....
