Car love is a great family hobby. I received it from my parents and my wife and I are passing it on to our son. My son is almost seven but I try to show him what everything is, including the tools, and what I'm doing when I work on the cars or just change the oil. He loves it. As far as learning stick, both my wife and I both had to learn to drive it before we even went for our tests so it will be the same for our son...if we can find a stick nine years from now.
-Jay, J.J., James, Jimmy Joe...I answer to all of them.

My daughter has driven my car, but my wife has not.  I taught my daughter to drive by the time she was ten, and by twelve years old she could drive a stick. She turned eighteen this week and still love to help me work on my cars.  Today she helped my detail her truck, a Dodge of course. We washed it clay barred it, washed it again, cleaner waxed it and polished the rims, all with her help and did the interior.  Tomorrow we will put the final coat of wax on it and do all the trim black as well as the wheels.
