seatbelt repair?
« on: July 30, 2009 - 08:43:55 PM »
Well, after many miles of driving my car I seem to have a problem.

72 Challenger stock belt set up.

When I go to use the shoulder belt and clip it in the little plastic bushing on the lower belt cracked in half and now the shoulder belt seems to come un-clipped by itself.  Very annoying.  has anyone ever managed to fix this issue before?

...Or maybe we don't have them.    :grinno:

My shoulder belt was AWOL, and I still haven't tried to replace them.

They come with shoulder belts?
I may be schizophrenic,
but at least I have each other

Well, the belts are very useful when strapping the kids in too.

Tom

It falls off too easy now and I got to put them in the back.

I got an idea for the fix after looking at it, if it works I'll post up.
