Armrest Photo Requested
« on: March 17, 2007 - 08:29:12 PM »
Can someone shoot and post a close-up photo looking down into the armrest base opening?  I'm putting my door panels back together and can't quite get that right.

Sorry I don't have a pic right now, but they are kind of a pain. You have to slip the bucket part down into the armrest pad before you install it. There is a plate with 2 screws that will hold the bucket in place from underneath after you slip it down into the panel. You really have to squeeze these guys to get them down into the door panel though.

The armrest pads, yes. If you need the buckets and brackets, I really don't know where to tell you to look.  :clueless:

Lgendary has the new pads, as far as the metal bracket & insert I would imagine there are plenty of good used around.

I got my brackets and buckets from Carlise last year.  I think I paid $20 for the set, guy wouldn't come down any more.  In any case are you missing both or one, if one let me know as I have an extra, not sure if it is right or left though.

Are any of the repro pads actually soft pads, or are they molded plastic to look like pads?
