cuda clutch pedal not comming up

hi i have a 72 cuda with a 440 -4speed.i installed clutch and related parts which are all new.the clutch pedal only comes off a little off the floor when i take foot off clutch pedal. i adjusted clutch fork rod adjustment.that didnt help .any help would be appreciated,thanks

What type of clutch ?
 the linkage or fork must be binding somewhere , , if the fork inside the bel clipped onto the release brg correctly ?

the clutch is a cheap diaphram type from auto store.there doesnt seem to be any binding etc,thanks
