Dash Crack
«

I hooked up the speaker in my dash last week . Now I notice a small crack (1/4 inch or so) coming from the corner of the speaker. Is there something I can do in the hopes it will not spread ?

drill a small hole at the apex of the crack, it can not continue after that.

Coat the pad with vaseline and let it soak in for a week or two, then wipe off the excess.
This will help to keep it from drying out and having future cracks.
