Dye seat covers?
« on: July 28, 2009 - 05:21:12 PM »
I have these ugly greyish white seats and they don't go well with my black interior and green go paint scheme.  Anyone know if I can dye or paint them black?  I hate to have to recover them because there are no rips and I'm not even sure what car they are from.
I may be schizophrenic,
but at least I have each other

I used SEM dye on my pinkish colored seats. I was in the same position, the covers weren't worn, but I didn't like the color. My seats were cloth, so the Landau black actually looks more charcoal over time. Here is before and after.... The black might look better on your leather.

Dye away!  It works great and will totally change the look of your car.
