Think I'll try a hardware or auto parts first. $14.25 seems kinda expensive for 2 pins

Thanks guys

If you don't have a decent hardware store, check with Tractor Supply.

Thanks for the offer.  The pins I have are .132 initial OD. The bore on the strut appears to be about .120. I remember they were a pain to remove too, what dimensions are you referencing?

Found one of the originals that came from my Challenger and it measures .126 vs the .132 for a "standad" 1/8" roll pin. Maybe it had compressed or it is indeed an off size as Chryco mentioned.

They are oddball size folks. Hard to find. Don't know if one could drill out the strut rod a little. Even hardened steel will go out a little if you turn the drill slow and use a lubricant like WD40 to cool the bit. I am going to use split cotter pins like the front wheel bearings use. Only there to stop the nut from backing out.

Found some at Tractor Supply. They mic out at .124" across the split and .131 at 90* to the split.
I'm guessing they will compress. I'll try them this evening.

Its been a couple of years, but I think the roll pin has a Mopar part # and is available from a dealership parts dept.
