Headliner
« on: June 19, 2009 - 02:12:54 AM »
Ok so I took out my headliner to spread it out and let some of the wrinkles fall out and I noticed that it is a 5 bow headliner. The old headliner that I took out only had 4 in it?  :scared: Do i need the 5 bows or can I install it with the 4?  :clueless: If I need the 5 bow how will I find out which one I need and where in the world would I find such and animal!! :1zhelp: :1zhelp:

ANYONE?????

Ok so I looked it up on the web and I guess you can get 4 bow headliners as well as 5 bow headliners! When I placed my order for my headliner I didn't know this and that was 1 1/2 years ago. The company is now under new owners and they will not take it back :swear:. So as of right now I have a headliner that I can't use!!

Does anyone have a set of bows they don't need???
Or has anyone installed a 5 bow headliner with 4 bows??

Kevin,

I am pretty sure I have an extra bow. mine was 5, and I had a spare set, I believe JIC.

Just call me, it's yours. Besides, I wanna see how you do it first...

Are they hard to take out and put back in?  Nothing wrong with mine but I probably should remove it before all the blasting and painting.  Any online instructions pertaining to the E-Body?

No problem, just tryin' to help a brother out.

I am FFAAAAAAAARRR away from a headliner. 2 years maybe...

I am going to spend my time on the body after the mechanicals are sorted out.
The car has not seen the road in 15 years. I figure its time....

I always need help. Just ask my wife.... :roflsmiley:

Seriously,
I am getting to the difficult stuff as I round the corner.
I need to rebuild my HVAC box, run my electrical, install the tailshaft, set up the linkages...You should see my "Chip Foose" style checklist. Its big, its scary, and I'm crossin' stuff off.

Where should I post my help needed?

I need to find a 4barrel 360 throttle cable bracket. I can't find one except an NOS one on Ebay.
Not happy.
