I have a rear end with 4.10 gears, tires that have a diameter of 25.7" (245/45-17).
Engine is a 340, 10.25.1 compression with milled heads on a stock short block.
Cam is a hydraulic flat tappet, advertised duration 280/280, Lift .474/.474.
I haven't dynoed the engine, but the sea-of-pants feeling is that it makes most power above 4000 rpm.
The use is exclusively street, no drag racing other than the occasional red light drag race.
I'm hoping that I can use a 1600 - 1800 rpm stall speed converter, or not much more than 2000 rpm.
