I have a 71 Challenger that had a leaking steering gearbox. I had taken it off and was going to buy a reman. from Napa. Took my old one in and found out that they don't order a replacement but send yours out for R&R. That was about a week ago. Counter person said it would take a week to get back. Cool. Woodward was 2 weeks away so I had more then enought time. Called today (! week later) to see when I can pick it up and low and behold, no gearbox. He said he would call and see what happening with it. He calls me back and they cannot find it! No tracking number, nothing. Long story short, if they cannot find it, is there any other gearboxes that would fit a Challenger to replace this. I have a feeling Napa will be buying one Monday for me. I cannot beleive they lost my gearbox!!
