I understand just seems one thing after another that does that.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

I hear ya. I sold enough parts at Carlisle to get close to being able to paint my car, then the truck broke down on the way home. ALL the $$ went for the 375 mile tow.  :violin:

As a wise person once told me,

“If life was easy you wouldn’t appreciate heaven”

And believe me I'm going to appreciate heaven........... If that's where I'm going.

I like that quote snowdog. We might also be moving soon and if we do I'm gonna have to sell my house, but to do that we gotta fix some stuff first, so that's gonna keep me from doing anything for a while. One day, who knows how long from now, I will finally be able to drive my Challenger. One day.....

August has been kicking my butt, Refridgerator had to be replaced, 16 year old puts her car in the ditch (no one was hurt), two weeks later the 13 year old takes his sisters car and goes for a joy ride at 2:00AM gets caught by the cops fines are around $350. Then the 16 year old gets picked up for speeding 103 in a 65, now she is going to need SR 22 insurance when she gets her license back. I can make the 16 year old pay for most her fines and insurance but she doesn't make a lot at her job. It's next to impossible to get any money saved for the Cuda. But I have a job and everybody is healthy so I guess in the big picture everything is OK. Sorry I had to vent some where.

Yeah, that's how it goes. You always have to look at the positive and be thankful for what you do have. I'm in the same boat, except for me it's always a time vs money situation. For years I had an excellent paying job but I was always there so no time for the cars. Eventually, I took a buyout from that place and have been unemployed for the past two years with no money other than from selling off extra action figures so now I have no money for parts, tools, etc., but I do what I can and have been very appreciative for the past couple years home with my son while my wife stepped up to bat and has found a decent job. You just gotta roll with the punches. :icon16:
