Shock Bolt for Shock Plate?
« on: August 28, 2009 - 12:15:18 PM »
I've got these Shock Plates, but the Bolts have been torched off. I was told that Mancini had something specific to replace the Shock Bolt, but they just told me that was not the case.
He suggested using a grade 5 bolt, do you guys know of something specific to fix this? Or, do you know the correct bolt size to make it work?
THANKS!!!

there is a replacement bolt available , , I thopught it was Firm Feel or Just suspension that had them
you still have to remove the old bolt & recreate the hole to bolt them in

CP - are these anything special? I have some bolts that come with replacement shocks (monroe etc.) though they weren't for a mopar. Pretty sure you can get these in the "help" section at most parts stores.

I wish I knew the name of the guy at Mancini that told me they did not have the shock bolts, I'm sure he'd like to know that they had them....

Once again, THANK YOU for the good information Gents!!!

I do not see any reason the bolts you show would not work ntstlgl
