I hadn't heard of this story before, but there was a "follow up" of it in our paper this morning. Seems a while back some guy from North Carolina calls 911 and says he is going to assinate Obama. Well the call was traced and the guy is arrested after he admits to making the call and evidently serious about his threat.
Well, he is sentenced to two 45 year terms and 18 months probation.................the prison terms were dropped and he is "out" on probation.
I guess they didn't take him too seriously........I guess time will tell. American courts seem to be a joke, it was not that long ago I read that a woman had to serve 6 months in a county jail system for eating two strawberrys from some grocery store produce display..............after leaving the store and not paying for them
