Passon Hemi OD
« on: September 13, 2009 - 09:53:31 PM »
So heard that my 1/2 ton A833OD has a weak link which is the mainshaft bearing considering the HP that my motor is. Sooooooo  .................  a friend and I each bought a 18 spline Passon Hemi OD unit.  :cooldancing: Not cheap but I did the research and it will take the 7000RPM that my motor is designed to run to. Wanted to buy a Tremec but everyone I know has had trouble with their Tremecs and am sick of working on this car, and I will drive like Stroker does. Will have to be a winter project as I want to get some miles on the car before I put it away. I envy you guys in the hot parts of the US and Hawaii etc. Anyone else out there running this gearbox.

I have had Passon do a lot of work for me. All his work is perfect and his customer service is excellent.
I have no doubt his OD trans is of superior quality. I am planning on getting one for the road runner in the future.
