Light Package Lights
« on: December 18, 2006 - 05:47:51 PM »
Anyone have diagrams or pictures of the map light, glove box light and trunk light for a 70 Challenger?  I have the light package on my car, but none of the light fixtures.  Trying to see what I should be looking for at swap meets.

Thanks.

Just shooting in the blind here just in case since you do not have them.........

A01 is the code for the light package if it is coded on the third line up of your fender tag.

If A01 is near the end of the second line up, it is the cars scheduled production date.

The light package is not the same for all cars either, some had more features than others, even on the same model of car.

T/Ake care,

That is normal, no fender indicators on R/Ts with the dual scoop hood.  Due to the hood bulge, there is no way to see the passenger side light, so they were not available. Same thing for the cars with T/A hoods.

Yep, the car is coded for A01.  The car was stripped before I got it and the parts car I have does not have the A01 option.  So, I need to get all the pieces and parts to put the light package together.  I am sure it will be $$$$.  I saw a map light harness on EBAY for over $50.  I was hoping to get some pictures and/or diagrams on the parts so I can identify them at shows, or make sure they are correct when searching online.

anyone has a pic to help me reassemble the glove box light ?   I can't find any point to screw it so that it is aligned with the liner hole.

thanks.
