i have no fan shroud on car and noticed when car is approx.200 degrees gas in the glass type fuel filter starts to bubble then car really runs bad.
If bubbles get worse the fuel could be vapourising in the fuel pump, you may want to investigate a vapour seperator and have a return line back to the tank to keep the pump cooler. This was common here in Australia a few years back on GM products until a return line was fitted.   :2thumbs:
Another problem could be a that the fuel cap is not breathing and the fuel tank is creating a vacuum.   :2cents:

thanks for all the advise. i am pretty sure i fixed problem.i borrowed coil and coil wire from my other car.when i pulled the cuda coil wire off distributor it appeared it was not pushed in all the way down. i put the other coil and wire ,had car idle for 46 minutes and up to 210 degrees according to temp guage and it was still running.i finally shut it off.before the most i could get car to run was approx 2o min.at 190 degrees and it would shut off. either way i kept my roadrunner coil and wire in the cuda and im calling it a day, thanks

The stock type Chrysler ignition doesn't have the juice to jump a gap consistently when a wire is loose. :2thumbs:

Why not DRIVE the car instead of just letting it idle, lol.

My neighbor 30 homes away does that...has a loud ass 1960's Camaro that even once warmed up seems not to like anything under 1500 rpms.

Disburse the whole area. People must have really ***** cause 3 years ago it was very very loud, then it was just very loud, now this year its just loud.

I run 4 mufflers --two on each pipe to keep my ride quiet--I back out of my driveway at 700 rpms nice and mellow after 20 seconds of idle....and my car is quicker to boot.
