...Umm Jim,
I saw a couple off 440's sitting in you Mopar Barn just a couple of weeks ago. What can this do for you, that those can't with a little help?
I think I get it...You are cornering the market on 440's.
Easy answer Mike, it's basically ready to just drop in. I don't remember if I mentioned this possibility to you or not while you were there? I sometimes find it hard to rationalize economically doing things like this. I know sounds dumb but this way the $$$ is spent all at once
And besides I'm getting this built motor for less than what I spent building the one in the 72 over three years ago. And I'm having trouble seeing little things like marks on a torque wrench
But motor mount bolts etc. are easier to find when I drop them.
Neal I know your not too keen on purple shaft cams, but for my use they serve me well, I've installed 4 over the last few years and had no problems and compartively speaking they are reasonable $$$. And you can install them "blind", I have no trouble feeling the lobes pass through the bearings.
just go slow and easy so as to not nick anything.
Pam did say it would be nice to have Neil help
I said "Hell..........if he were here I'd build one, er have him build one and I'd sit back and watch."
