It's timed, you can have it take a picture every "X" seconds.

Just had this thought?..... You must have a lot of "faith" in that suction cup to hold the camera on the side of your car? Sure would suck if it fell off? Is there any sort of tether "just in case"?

Nope. It gets on there pretty well, the sole purpose for this camera is to be mounted in adverse conditions. It would suck if it fell!

Wouldn't be a bad idea to have a "backup" for sure.
