Is there an easy way to remove headers

Is there any way to remove the headers without removing the oil adapter and the starter ? I have everything off but their still in the car

If you don't want them anymore, a hacksaw or sawzall will do just fine.

Otherwise, I don't see an easy way out.

Had to take my drivers side off from the motor (luckily not all the way off) a while back.  What a PITA without some of those special header wrenches!!  :banghead:

Yes and no. Yes if you're willing to drop the K-frame with the engine in it. No, if you're not willing to do the above, IMHO. There's no free lunch, but you could loosen the motor mounts and lift the engine one side at a time; but the PITA factor is still pretty high. Good luck   :2cents:

Thanks alll..
I got them off with only removing the oil filter adapter and the driver side slid out because I have a mini starter off a dakota... Big pain of a job but the now I need the adapter gasket..
