Transmission mounts
« on: September 12, 2009 - 06:31:36 PM »
I'm going to get new transmission mounts for my 727 in my '72 Chally Rallye, and wonder if there's more than one type of mounts.
Not thinking about the material it's made of, but its general shape.

Don't want to order some generic E-body mounts to find out they dont fit on my tranny, like the experience I had with my power steering pressure hose, where I learnt that Saginaw and Federal pump uses different hoses.

My tranny will be taken out for inspection, and installed again.
Is there anything else I might need than this part:

(Couldn't find this part at Roseville Moparts website)

generally I just use the poly insert in the old part
but no they used the same mount through the 70s on all cars , the truck mount looks the same ata glance but has a different offset to the front
