Darn Acura's
« on: July 19, 2009 - 10:26:52 PM »
I don't think I've ever posted a kill story here and am not much on street racing, but that's not to say if the conditions are right that I might not just hammer the gas one time. :roflsmiley:I have posted on my engine build and motor swap I just completed. I finally got it (543 stroker)tuned, installed and running after a 3 plus month withdraw. I waxed the car and headed out to the local cruise spot. This new motor made over 600HP on the dyno and I am still getting used to the power! :woo: I am minding my own business sitting at the stop light and hear this motor revving at the stop light. Another kid in an Acura with a fart can exhaust is in the left lane & is trying to get my attention. What is it with Acura's and my Mopars?? I just gave him a smile and eased off from the light. As I heard his car rev up, I gave the Challenger a little more gas and let him nose ahead (to let him think he was killing me).....then I looked over and really gave it some gas and left him like he had put it in reverse. I know it wasn't really a race, but I had to slow down to turn right and when I looked over to my left, he had the most stupid blank look on his face, and that my  friend was PRICELESS!! :roflsmiley: :smilielol: :roflsmiley:

Some people never learn. ::)  Nice stomping to get the kid to realize that contrary to popular belief, his Acura IS NOT the fastest/quickest car on the road.

You got more displacement in one cylinder than his whole car! Not really, but still. I love killing ricers. I beat them in pickup all the time. They think because it's a 4 door 4x4 that it's slow (and they also think that their "Fast and the Furious" cars are super fast) and it's hilarious when I stomp them. They also don't know all the stuff I've got done on my truck either.

Way to kill a ricer, that's one of the funnest things to do ever.

Love it, it seems once my exhaust got louder, it would attract ricers from all around wanting a piece on that "old turd". Boy do they get disappointed.  :burnout:
