440 Intake recommendations

My engine builder was supposed to put a Victor on my engine, but when I got it back there was a Performer RPM on there.  So I asked him about it and he said that the engine would be a dog with it on there, WTH???

On a mostly stock motor that's true. On a stroker motor with good heads (300+ cfm) and a good cam & exhaust is where the Vic will really shine. The kind of motor that you can afford to sacrifice a little low end TQ for a big gain in high RPM HP.  It's all in matching the parts on the motor.
